I Listen for a Feeling

I listen to my favorite songs on repeat. I feel the music flow through me. I listen for a feeling. Over time, my favorite parts seem to blur into the background and sometimes I even miss them until I notice the song's almost over. Interesting of life how even things we love become ordinary. Become a lived thing. Sometimes, I put my favorite song on and try and forget it to love it all over it again. I show up in presence with a clear mind (no memory) and listen. The feeling is timeless, it's pure joy. It's the first time I'm hearing it. That's what I describe love as. Love is timeless. <3
